we take log2x as loglog x but why then we take log-1x as 1/log x ????
We write X-1=1/X
Hehe.. But in video notation is taken as log2x = log(log x)... and not (log x)2
Loglogx and (logx)2 both are different
Log2log22128= log 128=7
so, similarly log-1x and (log x)-1 should be different!!
Just a personal opinion, donot blindly learn the cases and study them by heart, understand what happens in each case, what happens to the recursion tree, the proof of masters method(general) is given in clrs
